MIAMI, FL – A Flood Advisory is in effect for Broward and Miami-Dade counties in southeast Florida until 5:30 PM EDT on March 30, 2025, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.
Doppler radar indicates that heavy rain from thunderstorms, with up to 2.5 inches already fallen and 2 more expected, is causing urban and small stream flooding.
Affected areas include Miami, Hialeah, Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Davie, Miami Beach, and others. Water ponding is occurring or imminent.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to exercise caution and avoid traveling through flooded zones where possible.
