Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Arrests 10 In Drug Bust

BUNNELL, Fla. — In the early hours of March 27, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, Major Case Unit, and SWAT team executed a narcotics-related search warrant at 1261 County Road 302 in Bunnell. The operation stemmed from an investigation into an overdose death at the residence earlier in the month.

During the search, detectives seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, phencyclidine (PCP), and a firearm. As a result, 10 people were arrested and transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.

“Many of these poison peddlers and drug users had lengthy criminal histories with previous arrests on narcotics and theft-related charges, and now they are going back to the Green Roof Inn where they belong,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “This warrant started from an investigation into an overdose death, and rest assured that we will continue the investigation until we can hold the poison peddler who caused that death accountable.”

Arrested Individuals:

• Ivy Bentz, 38 – Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; held on a $3,500 bond.
• Stephen Horton, 45 – Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting an Officer without Violence; held without bond. Horton has an extensive record with 13 felony charges, 17 misdemeanor charges, and a felony conviction.
• Joann Isnardi, 60 – Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; held on a $2,500 bond.
• Darin Lemon Jr., 38 – Possession of Methamphetamine; held on a $3,000 bond.
• Monika Marzec, 38 – Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; held on a $3,500 bond. Marzec has a history of eight felony charges, nine misdemeanor charges, and six felony convictions.
• Jessica McBryde, 36 – Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Evidence; held on a $6,000 bond. McBryde has four felony charges, eight misdemeanor charges, and two felony convictions.
• John Mercurio, 26 – Possession of Phencyclidine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon; held on a $26,000 bond.
• Glenn Moratto, 39 – Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; held on a $2,500 bond. Moratto has 12 felony charges and eight felony convictions.
• Robin Strickland, 41 – Possession of Phencyclidine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
• Michael Vanhoose, 62 – Resisting an Officer without Violence; released after posting a $500 bond.
