Volusia County Sheriff’s Office Seizes Drugs and Cash

DELAND, Florida – On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at an apartment located at 700 Integra Dune Circle in DeLand, uncovering a  cache of illegal drugs and cash. The operation led to the arrest of 29-year-old Freddie Bryant, who now faces multiple felony charges related to drug trafficking and possession.

Authorities discovered approximately 60 grams of cocaine concealed within a compartment in a couch, along with $52,388 in cash hidden inside a dryer vent hose. Photos released by the sheriff’s office depict the seized items, including stacks of U.S. currency and packages of cocaine displayed on a digital scale.

Bryant  was taken into custody on an existing Volusia Sheriff’s Office warrant for the sale and delivery of cocaine. In addition to the outstanding warrant, he now faces new charges, including trafficking in cocaine, possession of Oxycodone, renting a structure for drug sales, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
