WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Presidents Day 2025, social media posts have emerged celebrating former President Donald Trump political comeback.
This holiday, also known as Washington’s Birthday, is observed to honor all U.S. presidents, but today’s focus seems particularly centered around Trump due to his recent re-election as the 47th President.
The White House posted “Happy Presidents’ Day, Mr. President” on X with a meme of his mugshot photo next to his 47th President’s official photo with the caption “They’re not coming after me, the are coming after you – I’m just standing in their way.”
Donald Trump’s political comeback in 2025 is considered one of the most remarkable in American political history.
Despite facing two impeachments, four criminal indictments, and surviving two assassination attempts, Trump managed to maintain and even expand his political base. His resilience in the face of these adversities became a central narrative of his campaign, turning him into a figure of sympathy for many supporters who viewed these challenges as politically motivated attacks.

Is Presidents Day A Government Holiday?
Presidents Day is a government holiday which means that many schools and government offices are closed along with some private businesses.
Presidents Day originally came from the federal holiday for George Washington’s Birthday.
But after the observance was changed to the third Monday in February, the holiday has become to be known as “Presidents Day” to celebrate both Abraham Lincoln’s birthday and Washington’s birthday in most states.
However, the federal government has never officially changed the name from Washington’s Birthday to Presidents Day.
Most banks are closed on Presidents Day 2025 because it is a federal holiday and the Federal Reserve Bank is closed on Washington’s Birthday.
