High pressure has built in behind the front, leading to breezier winds and increased marine and beach hazards. Breezy, with a northeast wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
Mostly cloudy tonight, with a low around 68. Breezy, with an east wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
High Rip Current Risk Along Atlantic Coast
South Florida beachgoers should exercise caution, as Palm Beach County, Miami-Dade County, and Broward County have a high rip current risk.
Saturday through Thursday
There is a chance of thunderstorms on Monday and Monday night over South Florida with a disturbance moving through the area. A few of the storms could become strong to even severe with hail, gusty winds, frequent lightning strikes, and heavy rainfall possible.
An elevated risk for rip currents is likely to last through the weekend and into early next week.
