Florida Woman Buys $2 Million Scratch-Off

 

MIAMI, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Virginia Alvarez, 69, of Miami, claimed a $2 million top prize from the 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Miami District Office. 

The Miami-Dade County woman chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,390,000.00.   

Alvarez purchased her winning ticket from Government Discount, located at 3709 Northwest 7th Street in Miami. 

The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

The $10 FLORIDA 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.49.
