The chance of thunderstorms will increase early in the week as a disturbance from the Gulf approaches the region. The potential for heavy rainfall and localized flooding will be highest Monday into Monday night, especially in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a high rip current risk for Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward counties on Sunday. The rip current risk may remain elevated across Atlantic beaches through much of the week.
