Disney World Drops Virtual Queues for Two Major Attractions

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida- Walt Disney World will eliminate virtual queues for two of its popular rides: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom. The change marks a shift away from the reservation-based system introduced to manage crowds and enhance guest experience during peak times.

Guests will now join traditional standby lines to experience the intergalactic thrills of Cosmic Rewind or the bayou-inspired journey of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. While Disney has not officially detailed replacement systems, fan speculation points to potential integration with Lightning Lane options through Disney Genie+.

The decision comes as the parks continue to adapt post-pandemic operations, balancing accessibility with crowd flow.
