Florida Man Buys $2 Million Scratch-Off At Publix
VENICE, Florida - The Florida Lottery announced that Stephen Nagy, 64, of Venice, claimed a $2 million top prize from the 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery's Ft. Myers District Office District Office.
The Sarasota County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,280,000.00.
Nagy purchased his winning ticket from a Publix supermarket, located at 4173 South Tamiami Trail in Venice.
The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $10 Scratch-Off game offers more than $243.4 million in total cash prizes, including over 700,000 prizes ranging from $50 to $100,000.
The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.49.
