Florida Man Arrested For Sex With Horse

LAKE WALES, Florida -  A 24-year old female American Quarter Horse was the victim of a crime back in late December 2024.

A woman in Lake Wales contacted the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and reported that a known man was outside committing a sex act against the horse.

Deputies say that, when they arrived, the 53-year old man initially tried to deny that it happened, but eventually allegedly admitted that it was a “dumb decision,” and tried to justify his actions on “being under a lot of stress lately with trying to deal with the finances of living in Florida.”

The Florida man has a criminal history of burglary, theft, and marijuana possession in Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. 

Deputies arrested the man and took him to the Polk County Jail where he was charged with sexual contact with an animal, a third-degree felony.
