Severe Weather, Tornadoes Possible For Florida
ORLANDO, Florida - An approaching cold front will bring scattered to numerous showers and isolated lightning storms, strong wind gusts up to 60 mph, and a few isolated tornadoes are possible across North Florida this morning, and Central Florida from late morning through through early evening, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, according to NOAA's National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center.
In South Florida, a few thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening as the cold front moves through the region.
Temperatures will drop into the 30s in North Florida, 40s across most of Central Florida, and 50s in South Florida tonight with wind chill factors in the 30s.
