Florida Pizza Delivery Driver Stabs Customer Over Tip
KISSIMMEE, Florida — A violent home invasion stemming from a dispute over a pizza delivery tip has left one person hospitalized and a Florida woman behind bars. The incident unfolded Sunday night, December 22, 2024, at the Riviera Motel on 2248 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a home invasion and stabbing at the motel. Upon arrival, they discovered a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was rushed to a hospital and is now reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit identified Brianna Alvelo as a suspect in the case. Authorities revealed that earlier that evening, the victim had ordered pizza, leading to a disagreement over the tip Alvelo received.
Later that night, Alvelo allegedly returned to the victim’s motel room accompanied by an unidentified male armed with a firearm. The pair reportedly forced their way inside, with Alvelo attacking the victim with a knife. During the attack, the victim was stabbed multiple times, and several items were taken from the room.
Detectives secured an arrest warrant for Alvelo on charges including Home Invasion with a Firearm, Attempted Murder, Kidnapping, and Aggravated Assault. She was taken into custody on Monday, December 23, 2024, and booked into the Osceola County Jail without bond.
Authorities have classified this as an isolated incident and continue to investigate. The unidentified male accomplice remains at large.
