DeSantis Orders Flags Flown At Half-Staff In Florida On Friday, December 6, 2024
PENSACOLA, Florida - Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has ordered that flags be flown at half-staff on Friday, December 6, 2024, in remembrance of the terrorist attack on Naval Air Station Pensacola.
On December 6, 2019, a terrorist at Naval Air Station Pensacola took the lives of three U.S. Navy sailors and injured others.
"As a mark of respect for the victims, I signed the attached Proclamation directing the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the State of Florida from sunrise to sunset on Friday, December 6, 2024," said DeSantis.
