Dense Fog Advisory For South Florida

MIAMI, Florida - The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for South Florida that will remain in effect until 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2024.

Dense fog is expected across portions of South Florida tonight, with highest concern for low visibilities being along the Gulf coast and interior areas. However, dense fog remains possible for the east coast metro as well. 

Visibilities in these areas could be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less, especially during the overnight hours.
