Florida Woman Buys $4 Million Mega Millions Ticket From Publix

   

LARGO, Florida - The Florida Lottery announced that Reana Mahaney, 60, of Largo, claimed a second-tier prize playing the MEGA MILLIONS Draw game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. 

Chora purchased her $4 million-winning MEGA MILLIONS with Megaplier ticket for the June 11, 2024, drawing at Publix, located at 10411 Ulmerton Road in Largo.

The retailer received a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning MEGA MILLIONS ticket.

Her winning ticket was one of two tickets sold in Largo that matched all five white ball numbers but did not match the Mega Ball number for the June 11 drawing.

The other winning ticket was sold Publix, located at at 10500 Ulmerton Road. 

MEGA MILLIONS Odds and Payout

The odds of winning the MEGA MILLIONS jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.

MEGA MILLIONS jackpot prizes may be paid in 30 annual installments or a one-time, reduced lump-sum payment which jackpot winners may choose to receive instead of receiving their winnings in annual payments.

All MEGA MILLIONS prizes must be claimed in the state where the ticket was purchased. MEGA MILLIONS prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the winning drawing date.
