JACKSONVILLE, Florida - The Florida Lottery announced that Anna Newson, 62, of Jacksonville, claimed a $1 million top prize from the LOTERIA GRANDE Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
The Duval County woman chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00
Newson purchased her winning ticket from a Publix supermarket located at 7177 Merrill Road in Jacksonville. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
This $5 Scratch-Off game offers over $62.1 million in cash prizes, including six top prizes of $1 million.
The game’s overall odds are 1-in-3.97.
