Florida Man Buys $2 Million Scratch-Off At 7-Eleven
TAMPA, Florida - The Florida Lottery announced that James Muckenthaler, 42, of Apollo Beach, claimed a $2 million top prize from the 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery's Tampa District Office.
The Hillsborough County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,280,000.00.
Muckenthaler purchased his winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 13220 US Highway 301 South in Riverview.
The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $10 Scratch-Off game offers more than $243.4 million in total cash prizes, including over 700,000 prizes ranging from $50 to $100,000.
The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.49.
