DeSantis: Florida Sends Temporary Bridges, Heavy Equipment To Help North Carolina
TALLAHASSEE, Florida - Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the State of Florida is sending a convoy of Florida Department of Transportation staff and heavy equipment, including 7,500 feet of temporary bridges, to North Carolina to help with damage assessments and roadway repairs after western North Carolina was hit by Hurricane Helene.

On Saturday, DeSantis also authorized the Florida National Guard to send air assets to North Carolina in support of the State's Hurricane Helene response.
