Alabama Man Buys $2 Million Florida Scratch-Off Ticket

GULF BREEZE, Florida - the Florida Lottery announced that Jeremy Smith, 49, of Lillian, Alabama, claimed a $2 million prize from the TRIPLE 777 Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. 

The Alabama man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,280,000.00.

Smith purchased his winning ticket from CEFCO Convenience Store, located at 5330 Gulf Breeze Parkway in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $10 Scratch-Off game, TRIPLE 777, features more than six million winning tickets and offers over $158.8 in total cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $2 million! With overall odds of 1-in-3.51, players can win up to 15 times.
