Pedestrian Dies In Palm Beach County Brightline Train Accident

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Florida- A fatal accident occurred involving a Brightline train and a pedestrian in the 1600 block of South Dixie Highway in Lake Worth Beach just after noon on June 18, 2024.

Despite the quick arrival of Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies and fire rescue crews, the pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene. 

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim,” the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office stated.
