MIAMI, Florida – Scattered thunderstorms and flooding will be possible once again today in South Florida.
The strongest thunderstorms could contain heavy downpours and gusty winds, according to the the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center.
With most of the region already saturated from the heavy rains this week, additional rainfall this afternoon can quickly lead to localized flooding especially across the east coast metro, with the greatest chance for flooding occurring in coastal Broward County, coastal Miami Dade County, far south Miami-Dade County, Metro Broward County, and Metropolitan Miami Dade.
