Shooting Suspect Arrested In Miami Four-Story Apartment Fire

UPDATE: A suspect who is believed by police to have started the fire and shot an apartment complex employee was arrested Monday, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez said in an update.

MIAMI, Florida - A man with a gunshot wound was discovered by Miami Fire Rescue crews when they responded to a four-story apartment complex fire at 8:15 a.m. on Monday.
Fire rescue crews were dispatched to a 3-alarm residential structure fire located at 431 NW 3 Street in downtown Miami.
During a news conference, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez said that the shooting was an isolated incident, but did not provide any further details.
Three firefighters were treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital for smoke inhalation.
Some 50 people were evacuated from the building, around 20 of those residents have been able to be housed with relatives, Suarez said.
The Red Cross is assisting the fire victims.
