Man Barricades Himself In Port St. Lucie Mall Parking Lot

PORT SAINT LUCIE, Florida - An armed man who barricaded himself in a vehicle at the Landings at Tradition mall parking lot died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Wednesday afternoon.

"Unfortunately, after hours of attempted intervention, the subject was found deceased in the vehicle with an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound," the Port Saint Lucie Police Department stated in a release.

"While there is a small crime scene around the immediate area, the Landings at Tradition is back open to the public."
