Flood Watch Issued For Southwest Florida
TAMPA BAY, Florida – The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay Ruskin, FL, has issued a Flood Watch for portions of Southwest Florida and West Central Florida, effective through Thursday evening.

- Inland Manatee
- Inland Sarasota
This includes cities such as Zolfo Springs, Parrish, Lakewood Ranch, Myakka City, North Port, Sarasota, Bradenton, Wauchula, Venice, Englewood, Bowling Green, Arcadia, and Anna Maria Island.

- Flooding Risk: Excessive rainfall may lead to flooding in rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying areas. Urban areas and locations with poor drainage are particularly at risk. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris, exacerbating flooding conditions.
