TDBBS LLC has announced a voluntary recall of 3,551 bags of its Green Tripe dog treats due to the potential presence of foreign metal objects in the treats. The recall is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of pets.


The affected products were distributed nationwide between February and May 2024 through both retail stores and online orders. The specific products being recalled are:


- **Green Tripe, Barkworthies Brand 7oz Bag**: UPC 816807015686, Item #2015686, Lot Codes WO151768 and WO152373, Best-By Dates February–March 2026.

- **Green Tripe, Best Bully Sticks Brand 2 lb Bag**: UPC 816807016027, Item #1016027, Lot Codes WO152669, WO153321, and WO152107, Best-By Dates March–August 2026.

- **Green Tripe, Best Bully Sticks Brand 5 lb Bag**: UPC 816807016010, Item #1016010, Lot Codes WO151401, WO152319, and WO153179, Best-By Dates January–April 2026.


The company advises pet owners to check the lot code on the packaging to determine if they have purchased any of the recalled products. Images showing the location of the lot codes can be found on the company’s website.


The presence of metal objects poses a health risk to dogs. Pet owners who believe their dog has consumed the affected treats should monitor for signs of illness or unusual behavior and contact a veterinarian if they have any concerns.


To date, there have been no reports of pet injuries or illnesses related to these products.
