Aldi Chocolate Chip Muffin Recalll In 21 States, Including Florida


FGF Brands Inc., in cooperation with ALDI Inc., has issued a recall for 11,830 cases of ALDI Bakeshop Chocolate Chip Muffin 4 count due to undeclared walnuts. 


Individuals with a walnut allergy or severe sensitivity risk serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products.


The affected muffins, packaged in 14.1 oz clear plastic clamshells and labeled with a red tag, bear the lot number NF1 142Y and UPC code 4099100048278. 


These products were sold at select ALDI stores in Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. 


To date, no illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported in connection with this issue.


Customers who have purchased the affected muffins are advised to discard them immediately or return them to their local store for a full refund.
