MIAMI, Florida – Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and into the evening on Monday, June 3, 2024, across South Florida, west Central Florida, the Florida panhandle, and the western half of the North Florida peninsula, according to the National Weather Service Hazardous Weather Outlook.
The greatest chance for thunderstorms is in Southwest Florida.
The rain could help to douse some of the brush fires that have erupted across Central Florida and South Florida.
Warm and muggy conditions will continue across South Florida with afternoon high temps ranging from the mid 80’s to around 90 degrees.
