National Weather Service Issues Severe Thunderstorm Watch For South Florida

MIAMI, Florida – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma, issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for seven counties in South Florida that will remain in effect until 7 p.m. EDT on Sunday, May 24, 2024.

The primary hazards include damaging straight-lined winds and large hail, possibly up to 2 inches in diameter.

Broward, Indian River, Martin, Miami-Dade, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, St. Lucie
