NORTH PALM BEACH, Florida – Around 7:43 a.m. on Thursday, a North Palm Beach resident walking on the beach discovered what appears to be human remains washed up on shore, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
“We responded to the 11600 block of Turtle Road, in North Palm Beach and determined that the remains appear to be human. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division and Crime Scene Units responded to the scene to investigate further.” PBSO tweeted.
“The remains are not identifiable, therefore, DNA will play a role in this investigation.”
Investigators with the Palm Beach County Medical Examiners Office were called to the scene to take possession of the remains.
