FWC: Florida Man Shot Alligator, Illegally Dumped Tires

ORLANDO, Florida - A Florida man allegedly shot at an alligator while illegally dumping tires on private property  last month in Orange County, Florida.

FWC officers began patrolling the private property because they previously discovered that thousands of tires had been dumped there.

While on patrol, officers say that they witnessed Arisleyder Reina Tornes, 40, enter the property and begin shooting at an alligator from the window of his truck before throwing more tires from his vehicle. 

The Florida man was arrested for tire dumping, attempting to take an alligator, operating an unregistered vehicle,  and driving while in possession of an open container.
