PONCE DE LEON, Florida - A Florida man allegedly bit a chunk out of a deputy's head during a four-day electronic dance music festival in Ponce De Leon, Florida.
According to the Holmes County Sheriff's Office, a deputy was attacked Sunday, May 5, while on foot patrol on the final night of the SolFest EDM festival by a Vortex Springs volunteer.
Deputies say that James Michael Anderson was under the influence of multiple substances including PCP, LSD, ketamine, mushrooms, and ecstasy, when he assaulted the deputy and tried to grab his gun that resulted in serious injuries including a chunk bitten out of the deputy's head.
