WINTER HAVEN, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Carlos Cole, Sr., 53, of Winter Haven, claimed a $1 million top prize from the SEVEN FIGURES Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
The Polk County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $695,000.00.
Cole purchased his winning ticket at a Publix supermarket located at 6031 Cypress Gardens Boulevard in Winter Haven.
The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.77.
