1 Dead , 1 Injured In Tampa Bay Boating Incident

TAMPA, Florida - One person died as a result of injuries sustained in a boating incident that occurred just before 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 04, 2024, near the Courtney Campbell Causeway in Hillsborough County. Florida.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Tampa Police Department, and Tampa Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
One person was transported to an area hospital and another person was declared deceased as a result of the incident.
The incident remains an active investigation and FWC will be the lead agency for the investigation.
