MIAMI, FL – The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a Wind Advisory, effective until 11 AM EDT Sunday, for coastal areas of Southeast Florida including Coastal Palm Beach, Coastal Broward, and Coastal Miami-Dade Counties.
East winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph are expected across these coastal regions.
Residents in the affected areas, including Pompano Beach, Jupiter, Deerfield Beach, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Riviera Beach, and West Palm Beach, should take precautions.
The advisory warns that gusty winds could pose challenges for driving, especially for high-profile vehicles, and may cause difficulties in securing outdoor objects.
There is also a possibility of tree limbs being blown down and a few power outages resulting from the strong winds.
