Severe Thunderstorms, Hail Possible For South Florida
MIAMI, Florida - Strong to locally severe thunderstorms, capable of marginally severe wind gusts and hail, will be possible near the southeast Florida coast this afternoon, according to the the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center, with the greatest chance for severe weather occurring in southeast coastal Martin, coastal Palm Beach, coastal Broward, and northeast coastal Dade counties.
Strong to locally damaging winds, hail, and frequent to excessive lightning are the primary hazards.
