National Weather Service Issues Tornado Watch For Florida

TAMPA. Florida – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO WATCH that will remain in effect until 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Thursday, April 11, 2024, for the following Florida counties:

Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Hillsborough, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Marion, Nassau, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Union, and Volusia.

A TORNADO WATCH means that tornadoes are possible in and near the watch area.
