January 6 Defendant In Custody After FBI Activity In Clearwater, Florida

CLEARWATER, Florida - A January 6 defendant who failed to appear for his scheduled trial date in June 2023 was taken into custody following FBI activity in the 2000 block of Sunset Point Road in Clearwater, Florida.

49-year-old Victor Sean Dennison was booked into the Pinellas County Jail at 10:32 p.m. on April 22, 2024, under a U.S. Federal Marshall warrant.
Dennison was facing four misdemeanor counts for allegedly entering the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, when he failed to appear for trial.
Former President Donald Trump promised, if reelected, that he will pardon those convicted in the January 6 Capitol riots.
