CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida – The launch of the U.S. Space Force‘s classified mission USSF-124 atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to liftoff at 5:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
According to the U.S.Space Force 45th Weather Squadron, there is an 95% of favorable weather conditions for launch. The primary weather concern is the Thick Cloud Layer rule.
Following stage separation, the first stage of the SpaceX Falcon 9 will land on Landing Zone 2 (LZ-2) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
A live webcast of this SpaceX rocket launch from Florida will begin on X @SpaceX about 15 minutes prior to liftoff.
