McDonald's Shamrock Shake fans, get ready to satisfy your minty cravings because Shamrock season is officially upon us! 

McDonald's announced that the iconic Shamrock Shake and OREO Shamrock McFlurry are set to make a seasonal return to participating restaurants nationwide starting February 5, 2024, but only for a limited time.

The classic Shamrock Shake is a delightful blend of creamy vanilla soft serve, mint syrup, and a luscious whipped topping. 

For those seeking a twist on tradition, the fan-favorite OREO Shamrock McFlurry is a tantalizing combination of crushed OREO cookies and the iconic Shamrock flavor.

Indulge in these minty treats and make your friends green with envy, but act fast – they're only available while supplies last.

The Shamrock Shake has been a McDonald's seasonal staple since its introduction in 1970 by Rogers Merchandising in Chicago, Illinois.

Originally lemon/lime flavored with vanilla ice cream, lemon/lime sherbet, and vanilla syrup, the shake underwent changes over the years. 

By 1973, it transformed into a green-colored vanilla shake and eventually adopted its now signature mint flavor.

Available at select U.S. and Canadian stores, as well as in Ireland, Shamrock Shakes are a seasonal delight offered during the months of February and March.
