3 Killed After Plane Crash In Clearwater, Florida

CLEARWATER, Florida – Three people died following a plane crash into a mobile home park in Clearwater, Florida.

Around 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024, a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza V35 crashed into Bayside Waters manufactured home park off of U.S. Highway 1 and south of the Clearwater Mall.

Clearwater Fire and Rescue Chief Scott Ehlers said in a news briefing that the caused  four mobile homes to catch fire.

The pilot and two people on the ground were killed in the crash, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
