U.S. Senator From Florida Marco Rubio Endorses Trump Over DeSantis

MIAMI, Florida - U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) endorsed former U.S. President Donald Trump over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election on Twitter on Sunday just before the Iowa Caucus start date begins.

"When Trump was in [the White House] I achieved major policies I had worked on for years (like expanded Child Tax Credit & tough sanctions on regime in Cuba & Venezuela) because we had a President who didn’t cave to special interests or let bureaucrats block us," Senator Rubio tweeted.

"I support Trump because that kind of leadership is the ONLY way we will get the extraordinary actions needed to fix the disaster Biden has created. It’s time to get on with the work of beating Biden & saving America!"

Senator Rubio is the second U.S. Senator from Florida to endorse Trump over DeSantis. Former Florida Governor Rick Scott and current U.S. Senator (R-FL) Rick Scott also endorsed President Trump.
