These Florida Schools, Colleges Closed Due To Severe Weather

, Florida – The Florida Department of Education announced today that the following Florida schools, colleges, and universities will be closed due to approaching severe weather on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

State College – All campuses will delay opening for employees and students until 11:00 CST tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9, 2024

Northwest Florida State College will close at 2:00 pm Monday, January 8, 2024, and reopen at 10:00 am Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Tallahassee Community College will be closed Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Florida A & M University will be closed Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Florida State University will close at 11:00 pm Monday, January 8, 2024, and will reopen at 11:00 pm Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
