Microsoft Outage Again: Is Microsoft Teams Down Today January 29, 2024?

Microsoft Teams began having issues today around 5:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Monday, January 29, 2024.

This is the second outage for Microsoft Teams in three days after running normally over the weekend since the last outage on Friday.

The most intense Microsoft Teams outages appear to be in the eastern half of the United States, according to a Microsoft Teams outage map by downdetector.com.

 Microsoft Teams users are reporting issues with accessing files on the platform.

Microsoft Teams users in Tampa, Florida, Washington, D.C., Boston, Massachusetts, Seattle, Washiington, and San Francisco, California, are reporting the most outages.

"We're investigating an issue in which users may be unable to access Microsoft Teams or features within North America, Canada and Brazil. For more information, please see TM710900 in the admin center," Microsoft 365 status tweeted.

"We're continuing to analyze service telemetry, however our initial investigation indicates all internal service telemetry is healthy," Microsoft 365 status stated in a follow up tweet.
