LAKELAND, Florida – A Florida man was arrested after allegedly throwing a beer can at a vehicle and firing an AR-15 rifle in the air because he was upset about drivers speeding in his neighborhood on January 11, 2024.
Polk County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 35-year-old Eric Proctor and charged him with discharging a firearm in public, throwing a deadly missile in an occupied vehicle, tampering with evidence, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Court records show that the Florida man was released on bond two days later.
