Broward County Man Buys $1 Million Scratch-Off From Publix



POMPANO BEACH, Florida - The Florida Lottery announced that Ronald Marc, 51, of Pompano Beach, claimed a $1 million top prize from the $5 GOLD RUSH DOUBLER Scratch-Off game at the Lottery's West Palm Beach District Office. 

The Broward County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $685,000.00. 

Marc purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 1003 East Commercial Boulevard in Oakland Park. 

The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

The $5 GOLD RUSH DOUBLER Scratch-Off game features more than 13 million winning tickets and over $188 million in cash prizes, including 28 top prizes of $1 million. 

The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.98.
