Naples Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure

NAPLES, Fla.- Gino Mario Torriero, a 46-year-old Collier County resident, turned himself in to the Naples Police Department on November 29, 2023. This follows an incident on November 7, 2023, where two female victims reported an unsettling encounter at the North Lake Drive beach.

At around 3:47 pm, the victims contacted the Naples Police Department, detailing an encounter with a male subject engaged in indecent exposure. 

The victims described the man lifting his shirt to expose his abdomen and proceeding to rub his groin area over his shorts. 

As the victims attempted to leave the beach, the subject escalated the situation by pulling down his pants, revealing an erect penis, all while maintaining an unwavering stare at the victims.

Quick-thinking, the victims managed to capture an image of the suspect and promptly reported the incident to a nearby City of Naples employee. Unfortunately, the subject fled before law enforcement arrived on the scene.

Following a thorough investigation, Naples Police Detectives positively identified the perpetrator as Gino Mario Torriero. Subsequently, on November 29, 2023, Torriero voluntarily surrendered himself at the Naples Police Department. 

He now faces charges for Exposure of Sexual Organs, a violation of F.S.S. 800.03.
